We are a manufacturer. Tiles are produced under our own Morbitaa brand on job work at manufacturing units across the Morbi cluster.

What that means in practice: the design is ours, the specification sheet is ours, the production batch is blocked in our name, the quality check before dispatch is ours, and the invoice and the responsibility for the product are ours. If something is wrong with a tile you bought from us, you come to us, not to a factory.

We do not operate a kiln of our own, and we treat that as a strength rather than something to hide. A single plant runs only a few sizes and finishes at any given time. Because we produce across more than 50 units in Morbi, we can offer a far wider size, finish and design range than any one factory, and we can place your order wherever the body you need is currently in production.

Tiles in the Morbi cluster are dispatched directly from the production unit, not from a holding warehouse. Once your design, size, shade and lot are locked, that stock is blocked in your name at the unit, and it is released against full payment. Three things protect you here.

Ceramic tiles are fired in batches. Two boxes of the same design from two different production runs can differ slightly in shade and in size. Once they are laid side by side on a floor, that difference becomes visible and cannot be corrected.

Every tile box carries three codes: a Lot Number, a Caliber Code and a Shade Code. All three must match across your entire order. Before we issue a quotation, we check that the required quantity is available in a single matching lot.

We also ask buyers to order 8 to 12 percent more than the measured area in the first order itself. This covers cutting waste, breakage and future repairs. Coming back six months later for four extra boxes from the same lot is rarely possible.

Tiles produced under our brand follow Indian Standard specifications. IS 15622 covers pressed ceramic tiles and IS 15477 covers adhesives for tile fixing. Testing methods follow the ISO 10545 series, which is what water absorption, breaking strength, abrasion resistance and stain resistance figures are measured against.

For any specific design, ask us for the test parameters relevant to your application. Water absorption matters for outdoor and wet areas, abrasion class matters for commercial floors, and slip resistance matters for bathrooms and pool surrounds.

Test reports for a given design can be requested from the production unit before dispatch. Please ask at the quotation stage rather than after delivery, as reports are tied to a specific production batch.

Tiles travel long distances by road, and a small amount of breakage in transit is normal in this industry. Before your order is confirmed, we tell you the tolerance figure that applies to your consignment, so it is not a surprise later.

Breakage beyond that tolerance is handled under our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy. Photograph the damage at the time of unloading and have it noted on the LR before the vehicle leaves. A claim raised days later, without unloading photographs, is very hard to settle with the transporter.

Yes. We handle export consignments alongside domestic supply. Container loading, documentation and payment terms are confirmed in writing on the proforma invoice before dispatch.

There are three real risks, and it is fair to name them.

Shade or size mismatch across batches. We handle this by confirming lot, caliber and shade availability before the quotation is issued, and by recommending 8 to 12 percent overage in the first order.

Transit damage. We handle this by declaring a breakage tolerance upfront, sharing LR and driver details at dispatch, and asking you to document any damage at unloading.

Payment security. We handle this by transacting only through the registered current account of Morbitaa Buildmart LLP, and by issuing a GST invoice before dispatch.

What we cannot control is road conditions and transporter delays. Our dispatch estimate of 3 to 10 days from the Morbi cluster is honest, not a guarantee.
